January 2020 Meeting Minutes
Minutes from January 9, 2020 meeting held at Sol de Mexico.
The meeting was called to order by President Andy Fix.
Members Present: Andy Fix, Cheryl Frank, Mike Perry, Jeff Horne, Ken Flanum, Kevin Raszeja, Bill Stocker, and Scott & Kim Springer.
Secretary Report: December minutes were not received by members so both secretary reports will be approved in February. (I’m sorry! I thought I had emailed them)
Treasurer’s Report: Accepted as submitted. There should be a new debit card for the checking account. Ken and Andy will check on this.
Sunshine: Andy Fix has a new granddaughter born January 8. Welcome to the world Ivy Mae and congratulations to Andy and family.
Waukesha County: Does anyone need more raffle tickets to sell? If so, please ask Andy or Cheryl. Please consider attending just one Waukesha County meeting per year to represent the club. Can you help?
Fundraising: There are 24 spaces on the drag billboard. Renewals were paid for 10 spaces. Three (3) spaces are free ads (Signs & Lines, Dewey and Sol De Mexico). Two (2) spaces not renewed because of business closing (Bartle & Miller). Gillettes said they are sending a check. Yamaha said they sent a check in November, but we aren’t able to locate that. Cheryl spoke to Rick Silkworth and he is looking into issuing a replacement check. Still need payment from (5) Action, Main Street Liquor, Marios, End of the Leash and Amato. If you know of anyone interested in a space please let Cheryl know! New ads are $140, then the yearly renewal rate is $125. A photo of the drag is on the Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/SnoSnoops/
Trails: Trails are in! We have almost all the Landowner Agreements done. We got the Greenwald Agreement and they added a stipulation that we renew it annually. We are waiting for the Village and Town and anticipate those soon. Harmony Real Estate gave us a verbal and we are expecting that one. There are two others still to wrap up. Kevin is working on updated insurance certificates.
Kevin met with Harold and got some new signs. Inventory for signage is looking good.
SNARS entries for trail marking thus far have been entered and submitted to the County.
Old Business: Kevin asked about the skid that was going to be put down by Phantom Lake. Cheryl to check with Bob on status.
$35 club membership are now due. Club memberships must be renewed before discounted trail passes can be purchased. Trail Passes went on sale as of July 1, 2019.
The next meeting is February 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Sol de Mexico.
