November 2019 Meeting Minutes

Minutes from November 14, 2019 meeting held at Sol de Mexico.
The meeting was called to order by President Andy Fix.

Members Present: Andy Fix, Bob Williams, Ken Flanum, Kevin & Maricruz Raszeja, Jeff Horn, Bill & Evie Stocker, Bill Bott, Mike Perry, Cheryl Frank and guests Jake Jagman and Caroline from Phantom Lake Management District Board

Secretary Report: The October secretary’s report was approved as submitted.

Treasurer’s Report: Accepted as submitted. A new debit card should be mailed to the club, either Ken or Andy’s address or the PO Box as the current one expires next month.

Sunshine: Ken got his teeth!

Waukesha County: Dues were paid. Raffle tickets were brought to the meeting and several handed out. We will be mailing tickets to club members to either buy or sell. You can turn the money and ticket stubs in at Won-A-Go Biking to Andy Fix, bring them to a meeting, or mail them to the PO Box address listed at the top of this form.

WCSA is requesting raffle donations for their Christmas Party. Please see attached flyer for more details. Is anyone interested in attending this and representing our club? A motion was made and seconded to donate a basket for their raffle totaling $150.00.

Please see attached message regarding Blue Mound State Park from the AWSC.

Fundraising: If someone wants to get on the drag, we have 2 spots available. We have received payment from 3 of the drag spaces and that money was turned into Ken at the meeting. If you know of anyone interested in a space please let Cheryl know!

Kevin and Cheryl to work on getting the landowners a $30 gift certificate this year.

A motion was made and seconded to donate $100 to each local food pantry. Andy to get checks from Ken and take care of this.

Trails: Kevin and Bob attended the trail boss meeting. Kevin has 7 landowner agreements signed. He will be reaching out to members asking for help when the time comes to put in trail. Information will be on the website and on Facebook. A question was raised about trail access to Phantom Lake and that is being looked into.

The tucker is currently at Star Sales & Service undergoing needed repairs.

New Business: Kevin spoke with Brookwood Inn owner and he has agreed to let us park the drag at his location.

Old Business: Midnight Magic Parade is December 7. Mike Perry will pull the drag in the parade again this year. Thanks Mike! Andy to get paperwork and money turned in for our spot in the parade.

$35 club membership are now due. Club memberships must be renewed before discounted trail passes can be purchased. Trail Passes went on sale as of July 1, 2019.

The next meeting is December 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Sol de Mexico.
