November 2020 Meeting Minutes

Minutes from November 12, 2020 meeting held at Sol de Mexico. The meeting was called to order by President Andy Fix.

Members Present: Andy Fix, Ken Flanum, Bill Bott, Bob Williams, Cheryl Frank, Evie Stocker, Howard Bacon, Bob Neu, Kevin Raszeja, and Jeff Horne

Secretary Report: Approved as written

Treasurer’s Report: Approved as submitted. Bob Williams was nominated and elected to serve as the club’s new Treasurer. Thanks, Ken for all the years you’ve served the club as treasurer.

Sunshine: Welcome new member Howard Bacon!

Old Business: Club memberships are due. Please renew your membership if you haven’t done so.

Midnight Magic Parade is still scheduled to go on for Saturday, December 5. The parade will be the same route as it is in the summer. There is a $25 fee. A check was issued and given to Andy Fix at the meeting. Kevin to discuss with Mike Perry on adding lights to the drag for the parade.

New Business: There was a nomination which was seconded to donate $150 to each food pantry. Cheryl to send. It was agreed to send $40 in Kwik Trip gift cards to the landowners this year. Cheryl will get the gift cards from LBDS to support their fundraising. Greenwald will get $40 PNS gift card.

Waukesha County: Raffle tickets have been distributed to club members and several were purchased and turned in at the meeting. Ticket stubs and money can be dropped off at Won-A-Go Biking in Mukwonago or returned at a club meeting. The next WCSA meeting is December 9 in Okauchee. See attached flyer for Christmas party details.

Fundraising: Signs and Lines is making the new overlays for the drag and should be done the week of Thanksgiving. We have one space available for sale. Recently received renewal from End of the Leash and received payment from our new advertiser Citizens Bank. Brookwood was added as a free ad. If you know of anyone interested in a space please let Cheryl know! New ads are $140, then the yearly renewal rate is $125.

Trails: Insurance has been paid. Certificates were distributed to Harold and the landowners. Landowner agreement completed from Greenwalds (1 year). There will not be a trail east of LO/I. Chapman has been rerouted. Bob Williams will work on Vernon Marsh trail. Trails will be put in December 5 and 6. Kevin will coordinate the groups. If you are able to help, please reach out to Kevin.

The next meeting is December 10, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Sol de Mexico.
