Mukwonago Sno-Snoops Snowmobile Club Background & Info

Our History

The Sno-Snoops Snowmobile Club Inc. was founded in Mukwonago, in 1969, to promote safe and organized snowmobiling in this area. We are a 100% volunteer, not-for-profit organization.

What We Do

We currently maintain trails in and around Mukwonago. We start by getting permission from the landowners that our trails go over. We sign land use agreements with them. We remove any brush and trim trees so that the trail is safe and passable.

When necessary, we construct bridges over rivers and streams.

Signs marking the trail are put in before the snow comes and are removed at the end of each season.

We are one of a few clubs in Waukesha County that owns and operates their own groomer.

We, as a club, do things “year round” even though we do not have corporate meetings in the summer.  Check out our Events Page to see what’s coming up.

During the snow season we usually have at least one organized ride.  We participate in the parade for Mukwonago’s Midnight Magic. We try to have a few Friday night fish fry’s through-out the year.

We belong to the AWSC which is a state organization that maintains over 25000 miles of trails throughout the state.

Come to a club meeting to see what we are all about.
